ABOUT DANCESAFE'S VOLUNTEERS

Each DanceSafe chapter is a group of volunteers within the local electronic music community who have a sincere interest in bettering their communities and educating themselves and their peers. Volunteers staff harm reduction tables at events where they provide information on drugs, safer sex, and other health and safety issues concerning the electronic dance community. The main focus of each DanceSafe chapter involves setting-up harm reduction tables or booths at electronic music events, nightclubs and music festivals. We distribute literature, drinking water, condoms, earplugs and answer questions for those attending the event.

VOLUNTEERS ARE THE HEART OF DANCESAFE

Volunteers share a commitment to our mission and we welcome those regardless of their background, ethnic origin, race, sexual orientation, or gender. Volunteers put aside personal agendas, egos, and any differences to help support DanceSafe and our mission. Every DanceSafe volunteer is valuable and we appreciate, recognize, and never take for granted the time they donate. Volunteers provide our organization with credibility, insight, perspective, diversity and expertise that helps DanceSafe fulfill our mission.

I haven’t posted much from the international labs as of late, but this has been showing up a lot as of late, and I’m wondering if we will start seeing this type of adulteration in the North American market as well. Mephedrone isn’t as common in NA. It is a shortlived euphoric stimulant, developed as an analogue of MDMA, which was extremely popular in the research chemical scene before being banned. Very strong urge to redose compulsively. Still very little information on the newer/lesser common 4-CMC. It’s an analogue of 4-CMA which is highly. It is not known if this cathinone family holds the same neurotoxicity problem as with the parent compound. You can purchase test kits from DanceSafe.org
